Heather Newsom is the visionary behind Sienna’s, a chic women’s clothing and gift boutique located on the charming waterfront streets of Downtown Southport. A Wilmington native and current Southport resident, Heather opened Sienna’s on June 3, 2023, offering an array of coastal boho styles with a dash of glam, tailored for women of all shapes and sizes.

Heather's passion for fashion started early. She attended UNCW and has built an extensive background in the fashion industry, beginning with her first high school job at Lilly Pulitzer. Her professional journey includes roles as a creative director and fashion buyer, all of which have honed her considerable fashion perspective. Heather aims to cater to women of all ages, ensuring that every customer finds a piece that makes them look and feel fantastic. "I want everybody who comes in my store to find something they love, no matter their size or their age," she says. "We’re going to have something for everyone."

Inspired by the breezy, sophisticated coastal fashions she admired during her summers in Ocean Isle Beach, Heather has curated a boutique that offers a wide selection of clothing sizes, shoes, accessories, and chic gift items. Sienna’s provides a personable shopping experience, inviting customers to explore the store's shell pink walls and luxe gold shelving to find their perfect fit. Heather envisions Sienna’s as a community hub and a destination for ladies' night out, offering private shopping experiences with friends and Champagne.

Family plays a central role in Heather’s life. Married to Dr. Alex Newsom of Dosher Memorial Hospital, Heather named her boutique after their daughter, Sienna. Their family dog, Maggie, often greets patrons at the store, and customers are welcome to bring their furry companions along on their shopping trips.

When she’s not at the boutique, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, being out on the water, practicing yoga, and playing tennis. She cherishes the community of Southport, appreciating its small-town feel and the wonderful environment it offers for raising a family.
